Project My Book Buddy expands!
Thanks to a special donation from the recycling shop De Spullewaard in Zaltbommel, we are making again great progress with the My Book Buddy project in 2018. Soon the New Furaha Primary School will have a school library. This primary school is located in Kanamai, a smalll village community North of Mombasa. Preparations are now in full swing: teachers are being trained and already much work has been done on the bookcases.
At the beginning of February we took a look at the school. We were impressed by the enthusiasm: teachers and pupils are looking forward to the arrival of the class libraries. They have to be patient for a little while – Saturday May 26th is the official launch of MyBookBuddy at their school. We wish everyone a lot of reading pleasure!
